COMME des GARÇONS Plus x Nike Air Jordan 1

First unveiled as part of the Japanese fashion label’s Paris Fashion Week Men’s Fall/Winter 2019 show, both colorways of the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME Plus x Nike Air Jordan 1 are now the subject of official product shots that have leaked online. The punk-inspired Nike Air Jordan 1 is done up in all-black or all-white leather and features an extended tongue with Jumpman-embossed branding. An exaggerated ankle strap, reminiscent of the Air Force 1 High, and metallic silver detailing and studs add to the shoe’s 1977 vibe.

While it was previously unclear whether the shoe was a custom made specifically for the runway show, the leaked product shots would appear to confirm that we’ll be seeing the sneakers hit shelves at some point during the FW19 season. Rei Kawakubo’s label has a long history of unveiling Nike sneaker collaborations on the runway, with the most recent co-branded drop being two frayed Nike Shox TLs with oversized COMME des GARÇONS chain branding.
